Chanoma cafe with - Claudia chanoAU

Everyone has room for dessert after dinner right? Green tea is one of all-time favourite! When I first found out about this green tea café I fell in love with it in an instant. If you’re a green tea lover like me, I recommend you to try this place! Chanoma Café is known as the ‘The Japanese Matcha Maker’. Chanoma Café serves Japanese tea style, a variety of hold/cold matcha green tea infused beverages, traditional Japanese desserts and savoury hot dogs!

My all night favourite after dinner dessert would be the Matcha float or the Matcha float. Talking about this is making me crave for Chanoma myself! Anywho let’s get straight into this. Matcha float which consist of Iced matcha latte with matcha soft serve on the top.  The soft serve tastes really creamy (literally melts in your mouth). The Iced matcha latte is so refreshing! Goes very well with the matcha soft serve. My second favourite is the matcha float which consists of the same thing as the matcha float but something special is added to the matcha float! It is Dango, Dango is a Japanese dumpling made from Mochiko (rice flour). The texture is chewy and soft, goes well with the matcha latte! J

Here is the address Shop 11 501 Geogre Street Sydney

Grilling and Chilling with Felix - Grill'd burgers

One of the best feelings in life is to feel satisfied with your fulfilling yet affordable meal.
Grill'd burgers is a great way achieve that ! They have a variety of different types of burgers ranging from vegetarian to meat lovers, white bread to whole meal bread and even the choice of having fries or salad on the side.

My first experience eating at Grill'd burgers was superb ( not sure if it was because i was extremely hungry! jokes) I ordered the spicy chicken burger  with jalapeños. The chicken was grilled and marinated perfectly and the spiciness complimented the salad.
The serving size was relatively large and considering I am a big eater I was already full three quarters of the way! I would definitely recommend this place to those who love a big fat juicy meal !

Quay to my heart with Shirley

Quay restaurant located in Sydney ( Circular Quay) is one of the most prestigious restaurants in the world. One of their most popular dishes is of course the famous snow egg.

I was extremely excited to try the snow egg myself considering this dessert was made famous on Masterchef Australia.
The "egg" sits on white nectarine granita with puree and custard. Inside the snow egg, it has a yolk of white nectarine ice cream with meringue drizzled with icing sugar on top. It tasted absolutely amazing as the texture and creaminess of the ice-cream was superb. The soft meringue melts in your mouth and the granita is icy and refreshing.

Chicken Institute - Leon

Chicken Institute is a twist of fusion Korean restaurant; popular dishes consist their fried chicken menu. Fried chicken is a perfect combination with a few drinks! For the first time round i tried  ''Damn good sticky chicken'' it has a twist of sweet and spicy, crushed peanut and shallots. If you're not a chilli person i recommend you having a cup of water, because this damn good chicken is damn chilli. Along with some chook, i tried ''Kimchi poutine'' fries with cheese, kimchi, chilli, shallot and a hint of gavy to spice the taste up. I highly recommend trying these two dishes, under $30 not too heavy on the wallet.

Surprisingly it seems like it's not much food but it filled my belly up! I have yet to try other dishes in the menu. The surroundings offers a relaxing chilled environment, perfect for quiet night out! The address for Chicken Institute is 61 Fitzroy St, Surry Hills NSW 2010.
Top photo is the Damn sticky chicken and the second photo is the Kimchi poutine.
